What you will do

• Operate automated equipment used to perform and produce biological assays and reagents.
• Complete detailed production documentation, including data capture, logbooks, and inventory batch records.
• Perform daily maintenance of production equipment and ensure laboratory cleanliness.
• Manage physical inventory by processing, aliquotting, vialing, and labeling materials.
• Contribute to process improvement and assay development for manufacturing.
• Handle BSL2 reagents and produce custom prototype requests for customers.

Requirements

• High School diploma (degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering is preferred).
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend up to 80% of the day at a lab bench or in a cleanroom.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Aptitude for learning standard laboratory techniques and safety precautions.

Nice to have

• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP and JDE systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO certification.
