Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace)

TL;DR

Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace): Designing and developing complex microwave electronics subsystems with an accent on electronics packaging for military applications. Focus on circuit card assemblies, thermal engineering, and the verification of microwave components using CREO and Windchill.

Location: Onsite in Andover, MA

Salary: $72 - $82 per hour (non-benefitted W2)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and manufacture complex microwave electronics subsystems.
• Perform electronics packaging designs, testing, and verification of components and sub-systems.
• Develop design and documentation for Circuit Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards, and Cabling.
• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electronic assemblies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined professionals in RF/microwave and thermal engineering.

Requirements

• Must possess an Interim Secret Security Clearance.
• Education and Experience: AA degree with 10+ years, Bachelor's with 6+ years, or Master's with 4+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in electronic packaging for military applications.
• Proficiency with CREO and Windchill.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with Change Board processes and documentation control.

Nice to have

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Zuken.
• Hands-on experience building and testing electronic assemblies.
• Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics.
