What you will do

• Create creative social media content, including short-form videos, graphics, and copy for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Bluesky.
• Develop and execute the UK social media annual calendar and quarterly communications plans.
• Collaborate with global and local communications and advocacy teams to react to trending news and conversations.
• Champion the voices of refugees and asylum seekers following ethical storytelling guidelines and DEI values.
• Monitor social media performance and use analytics to optimize future content strategy.
• Stay updated on social media trends and experiment with new storytelling techniques and influencer engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a social media role (agency, in-house, or journalism) with a strong focus on video production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
• Experience with social CMS and publishing tools such as Sprout Social.
• First-class storytelling and copywriting skills with high attention to detail.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Ability to work independently within a dynamic, cross-functional global team.

Nice to have

• Degree in Video Production, Film, Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, or equivalent training.
