TL;DR
Social Media Content Producer (Content Creation): Developing creative multimedia content to drive reach and engagement across social channels with an accent on short-form video and storytelling. Salary: GBP 34,807 – 40,608

What you will do
- Create creative social media content, including short-form videos, graphics, and copy for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Bluesky.
- Develop and execute the UK social media annual calendar and quarterly communications plans.
- Collaborate with global and local communications and advocacy teams to react to trending news and conversations.
- Champion the voices of refugees and asylum seekers following ethical storytelling guidelines and DEI values.
- Monitor social media performance and use analytics to optimize future content strategy.
- Stay updated on social media trends and experiment with new storytelling techniques and influencer engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a social media role (agency, in-house, or journalism) with a strong focus on video production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
- Experience with social CMS and publishing tools such as Sprout Social.
- First-class storytelling and copywriting skills with high attention to detail.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic, cross-functional global team.
Nice to have
- Degree in Video Production, Film, Journalism, Communications, Digital Marketing, or equivalent training.
