What you will do

• Process medical ROI requests in a timely and efficient manner using company software.
• Organize records and documents to complete the release of information process.
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.
• Maintain compliance and confidentiality according to company reference materials.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Memphis, TN
• 2+ years of medical record experience.
• 2+ years of experience in clerical or office work.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice to have

• RHIT certification.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations regarding Protected Health Information.
