What you will do

• Manage daily finance operations and lead a small team to ensure process accuracy.
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning to support expansion.
• Handle payroll processing for approximately 30 staff members.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Optimize financial systems, specifically Xero, and improve payment collection processes using GoCardless.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting and workflows.

Requirements

• AAT qualification or equivalent accounting/bookkeeping certification.
• Solid experience in AP/AR processing and payroll management.
• Proven background working within an SME environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Stockport.
