Group Accountant (Finance)

TL;DR

Group Accountant (Finance): Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports for an international technology infrastructure services business with an accent on multi-entity compliance and tax laws. Focus on managing cash flow, intercompany transactions, and implementing financial process improvements.

Location: Onsite in Buntingford, UK (5 days per week)

What you will do

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Manage VAT returns, review Corporation Tax returns, and handle quarterly Transfer Pricing invoices.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and intercompany transactions.
• Implement and maintain financial systems and process improvements.
• Support the preparation of the Group Project Report, including accruals and data quality checks.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proven experience within a multi-entity or international environment.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
