What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and validation of electronic hardware systems, including circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
• Build, prototype, debug, and document hardware designs for new product development.
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to support full product development.
• Engage directly with customers on-site, providing technical leadership and building strong relationships.
• Develop and execute test strategies, including pre-compliance and validation testing at certified labs.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the evolution of internal engineering tools and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design or product development.
• Proven experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware bring-up.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with software teams.
• Ability to travel to customer sites is essential (mostly local in West Michigan, but sometimes domestic).
• Must have unrestricted right to work in the USA.
