TL;DR

Head of AI Productivity Lab (AI Engineering): Leading the development of agentic co-working technologies to accelerate internal employee productivity and process automation with an accent on agentic AI and software engineering. Focus on building a cutting-edge platform for agentic coworking and embedding intelligent agents into enterprise workflows.

Location: Hybrid (London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, or Manchester). Must spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at one of the office sites.

Salary: £167,552 - £209,440

What you will do

  • Lead a high-performing team of AI Productivity engineers focusing on agentic AI and process automation.
  • Drive the adoption of agentic coworking across business areas, embedding agents into SOPs and tools.
  • Design and build a platform for agentic coworking, including an agent-maintained enterprise knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to define the strategic direction for productivity.
  • Stay current with emerging industry and open-source innovations in AI-SDLC and agentic technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering transformational change in a regulated Financial Services environment.
  • Authoritative expertise in agentic coding/coworking technologies (e.g., Claude Code, OpenClaw, GitHub Copilot).
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise software engineering, infrastructure, and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-SDLC tooling such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
