Salary: $230,000 - $270,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the technical vision and roadmap for the Identity Platform, ensuring scalable and reliable auth systems.
• Design and implement cloud-based identity solutions including SSO, MFA, and federated identity integrations.
• Set organization-wide standards for authentication and authorization across all services and client applications.
• Drive technical design discussions and mentor mid-level engineers on security best practices and architecture.
• Collaborate with product, security, and compliance teams to develop new features adhering to quality standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies in identity and access management to drive engineering innovation.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of backend development experience with at least 3 years focused on identity management.
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT, and MFA flows.
• Proven experience with complex distributed systems, microservices, and containerization.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and secure handling of PII.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar security and compliance requirements.
