What you will do

• Design and implement global-scale backend services in Go for authentication and authorization.
• Solve complex identity challenges involving enterprise identity, APIs, and machine identities.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging identity technologies, protocols, and security patterns.
• Develop highly available, globally distributed services focusing on resilience and security.
• Mentor engineers on identity best practices to increase technical depth.
• Manage on-call rotations to improve service reliability and operability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent degree + experience).
• Proficiency in languages such as Go, Ruby, Java, C++, or Python.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Deep understanding of identity standards like OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and WebAuthn.
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures and credential lifecycle management.
• Proven track record of delivering production software at scale.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCIM, FIDO2, SSH, JWT, or DPoP.
• Contributions to identity standards bodies or open-source identity projects.
• Experience building infrastructure for platforms serving millions of users.
