Principal Resident Architect (Postgres AI): Designing and executing end-to-end technical solutions for the EDB Postgres AI platform across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments with an accent on data platform architecture and AI integration. Focus on bridging hardware infrastructure with AI and agentic innovation, optimizing secure local AI inferencing and large-scale data management.

Location: Remote (United States). Active/Current US Secret Security Clearance is strictly required.

What you will do

• Architect and build data platform solutions utilizing the EDB Postgres AI Sovereign Data and AI Factory (SDAF).
• Perform hands-on systems installation, including loading the OS and EDB software stack on Dell PowerEdge servers.
• Develop and validate AI and agentic Proof of Concepts (POCs) utilizing vector engines for RAG-based applications.
• Execute complex database and application migrations on an accelerated schedule, aligning with Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Create infrastructure automation to accelerate platform readiness and enable rapid deployment at scale.
• Manage technical resources to deliver a unified solution and serve as the single technical voice to strategic customers.

Requirements

• Active/Current US Secret Security Clearance is strictly required.
• 10+ years of software development, hands-on solution architecture, and/or consulting experience in the data platform space.
• 7+ years of full-stack engineering or solution architecture experience.
• Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift (RHOS) or Kubernetes orchestration in secure, on-premises environments.
• Deep experience with database technology and high-availability architectures, ideally with Postgres.
• Proven ability to define and execute full-stack software solutions from hardware and infrastructure to AI and agentic layers.
