Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform electrical power system modeling and analysis for solar, wind, and battery storage projects.
• Develop quality studies and reports for short circuit, reactive power, arc flash, dynamics, transients, and harmonics.
• Ensure interconnection compliance and perform grounding and ampacity calculations.
• Manage client communications and maintain strong professional relationships regarding specific assignments.
• Apply relevant industry Codes and Standards to all engineering work and calculations.
• Assist with the detailed design of one-line diagrams, relaying schematics, and SCADA specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (electric power option preferred).
• 1–4 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Proficiency in PowerFactory or ETAP.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Experience with cable ampacity software (Cymcap) and grounding software (CDEGS or WinIGS).

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Experience with PSSe, PSLF, or PSCAD.
• Proficiency in SKM Power Tools, Easypower, or Aspen.
