Quantitative Researcher (LINK Unit)

TL;DR

Quantitative Researcher (LINK Unit): Supporting the research team in analyzing program effectiveness and social change initiatives with an accent on quantitative data collection, statistical analysis, and qualitative insights. Focus on conducting literature reviews, managing online surveys, and contributing to internal communications for the LINK unit.

Location: Must be enrolled at a Dutch educational institution and have the legal right to live and work in the Netherlands. Hybrid model with at least two days per week at the office in The Hague.

Salary: €450 per month (based on a 36-hour work week).

What you will do

• Construct and manage online surveys for effective data collection.
• Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analysis on quantitative datasets.
• Conduct coding and thematic analysis of qualitative data using MAXQDA.
• Perform literature and desk reviews on topics like activism and humanitarian assistance.
• Support data collection during focus groups and interviews.
• Design and draft the Research team quarterly newsletter and communication materials.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Master's student in social science or data science at a Dutch educational institution.
• Must have the legal right to live and work in the Netherlands.
• Experience with cleaning and organizing quantitative data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software such as Python, Stata, or R.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Less than 3 years of relevant full-time work experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of design software like Canva.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, or Arabic.
