Junior Data Analyst (Ecommerce)

TL;DR

Junior Data Analyst (Commercial Insights): Leveraging data to identify commercial opportunities and optimize the marketplace balance with an accent on commercial activations and user behavior trends. Focus on building ad hoc analyses, designing experiments, and creating self-service dashboards to influence commercial strategy.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, Netherlands or Lisbon, Portugal). Minimum of two days per week in the office is required.

What you will do

• Transform complex data into actionable insights and practical recommendations for commercial teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success measures and uncover trends in user behavior.
• Execute a wide range of analytics projects, including ad-hoc analyses, dashboarding, and data pipelines.
• Design and analyze commercial activations and experiments to scale demand and offering.
• Enhance the reliability of data pipelines and create self-service reporting opportunities.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in analytics or data (internships and academic projects included).
• Strong quantitative mindset and a keen interest in business operations.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Solid foundation in core statistical concepts.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Amsterdam or Lisbon offices.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and trend analysis.
