TL;DR
Junior Product Owner (Sports Tracking): Driving backlog definition, quality coordination, and delivery for real-time sports tracking and automated officiating systems with an accent on software-hardware integration, testing, and operational reliability. Focus on translating user needs into product requirements, coordinating defect resolution, and supporting staged deployments in live stadium and broadcast environments.
Location: Budapest, Hungary; hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office
Salary: HUF 679,250–HUF 1,045,500 per month

What you will do
- Translate user, operator, and business needs into epics, features, and user stories for small-to-medium changes.
- Own and prioritise the product backlog using data, value, and risk.
- Define and coordinate functional, integration, regression, and UAT activities, including defect triage, validation, and root-cause investigations.
- Work with Engineering, QA, TechOps, and UX teams throughout Agile delivery.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and training materials, and support pilots, staged rollouts, and early-life operations.
- Develop toward roadmap planning, OKR definition, and greater ownership with coaching from senior product professionals.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a product-related role such as Associate Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, or Operator.
- Strong technical grounding and the ability to communicate with engineers, QA specialists, and operators.
- Experience coordinating quality-control or regression testing and managing defect resolution.
- Experience with cloud-based and data-oriented products, including basic product analytics and operational telemetry.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive planning, and the ability to handle ambiguity and escalate risks appropriately.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting product launches and creating documentation or tutorial content.
- Exposure to stakeholder engagement, prioritisation frameworks, and roadmap contribution.
- Experience with software, high-performance cameras, and hardware in live broadcast, sports, or other real-time environments.
