Junior Product Owner (Sports Tech)

Location: Hybrid in Budapest, Hungary (2 days/week in office)

Salary: HUF 679,250 – 1,045,500

What you will do

• Translate user, operator, and business needs into detailed epics, features, and user stories.
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog based on data, business value, and risk.
• Coordinate comprehensive QC activities, including functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, QA, TechOps, and UX teams within an Agile framework.
• Develop documentation, runbooks, and training materials for product roll-outs.
• Provide early-life support and manage pilots to ensure smooth embedding in live match operations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a product-related role (e.g., Associate PO, Business Analyst, or QA).
• Strong technical grounding in software-hardware integrated systems.
• Proven experience in coordinating regression testing and managing defect resolution.
• Comfort working with cloud-based and data-oriented products and operational telemetry.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset for handling ambiguity.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Budapest, Hungary

Nice to have

• Experience supporting product launches and creating technical tutorials.
• Exposure to stakeholder engagement and product roadmap frameworks.
• Experience with high-performance cameras and real-time sports broadcast environments.
