Financial Management and Reporting Accountant (Fintech)

TL;DR

Financial Management and Reporting Accountant (Fintech): Preparing internal reporting, cashflow forecasting, and treasury reporting for an investment platform with an accent on IFRS frameworks and financial modelling. Focus on delivering accurate management information, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting business reviews.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK). Minimum of 3 days per week spent in the office

What you will do

• Prepare key internal reporting, including Business review, Cost Centre reporting, Cashflow forecasting, and Treasury reporting.
• Calculate and prepare accounting adjustments for accruals, prepayments, revenue, and tax.
• Maintain the fixed assets register.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business needs.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and assist with ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 1 year PQE.
• Strong understanding of IFRS frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and a logical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester for a hybrid setup (min 3 days/week).
