Project Manager (m/f/d) - Semiconductor Industry

What you will do

• Define and deliver multi-site R&D and industrialization projects, including studies, cost reduction initiatives, transfers, and complex new product introductions.
• Build project plans, define scope and resources, and ensure delivery against quality, timing, cost, reporting, and organizational targets.
• Lead cross-functional project teams in an intercultural, matrixed environment, including operational guidance and conflict management.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation scenarios, and manage issues and requested changes.
• Define project budgets, control costs, and maintain transparent financial tracking, including CAPEX and product cost control.
• Provide project reporting and approval presentations while maintaining proactive stakeholder communication with senior management and executive-level stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, preferably microelectronics or semiconductor physics.
• At least 5 years of experience successfully managing multiple concurrent, high-value projects with budgets exceeding $1 million.
• Experience leading diverse, cross-functional project teams in a matrixed organization and intercultural environment.
• Strong understanding of risk management, change management, resource planning, budget management, CAPEX, and product cost control.
• Fluent English and strong German communication skills are required.
• Ability to work under pressure, take initiative, solve problems, and build high-performing teams.

Nice to have

• PMI certification or a similar qualification.
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and packages.
