What you will do

• Manage the full end-to-end lifecycle of production, staging, and development databases using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, clustering, and replication models in Linux environments.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and performance scaling to ensure maximum uptime and resilience.
• Proactively apply security patches, PSU/CPU/RDBMS updates, and configuration fixes.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize database performance to support technical and functional teams in resolving complex issues.
• Actively participate in ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Release Management, to maintain operational stability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator.
• Deep expertise in MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Strong working knowledge of administering databases on Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
• Experience with complex storage solutions and cluster configurations for scalability and failover.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
