What you will do

  • Automate database and data pipeline processes to improve overall performance and value.
  • Manage logical database schemas to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans, backup strategies, and security monitoring protocols.
  • Integrate and manage databases across hybrid environments combining on-premises and cloud solutions.
  • Support production databases and collaborate with development and testing teams.
  • Monitor emerging database technologies and identify potential security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database 19c and 21c.
  • Proficiency in RMAN, Data Pump, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Advanced administration skills on RHEL/CentOS and Oracle Linux.
  • Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash), PL/SQL, and Python for automation.
