What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data models using dbt and Dataform on BigQuery.
• Develop and optimize analytical datasets and data marts for business consumption.
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Support the migration of existing pipelines from AWS, Snowflake, or Azure into GCP.
• Implement data transformation logic and ensure quality through testing and validation.
• Contribute to data governance, cataloging, and lineage using Knowledge Catalog.

Requirements

• Strong experience as an Analytics or Data Engineer with a focus on the analytics layer.
• Hands-on expertise with dbt (or Dataform) and SQL-based transformations.
• Proficiency with the GCP stack, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Composer/Airflow.
• Experience building data models (dimensional modeling, data marts) and lakehouse architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
• Must be based in the European Union region with a valid work permit

Nice to have

• Experience with Knowledge Catalog or other data catalog tools.
• Proficiency with BI tools such as QuickSight.
• Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization in cloud data platforms.
• Experience in highly distributed enterprise environments.
