What you will do

• Execute technical engine and warranty parts investigations, communicating new findings.
• Ensure KPI’s of engine investigations are met and support cycle time of warranty investigations.
• Work on unplanned engine removals and summarize outcomes for management updates.
• Carry out pre-investigations of engine damages to support management decisions.
• Identify requirements to maintain and improve engine investigation cycle times and quality.
• Support issue resolution on component or subsystem level, working with quality and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, HTL-engineer or craftsman’s master exam in mechanical engineering or years of experience.
• Several years of experience with Jenbacher products and control systems or experience in operation and maintenance of reciprocating engines.
• Expert knowledge about use of borescope, videoscope, microscope, digital photography.
• Previous experience of data analysis techniques.
• German is essential, minimum B2 level or higher.
• English skills on B1 or B2-level (desired).

• Expert knowledge about material testing and measurement methods.
• Willingness to travel occasionally on short notice (< 10%).
