Laboratory Technician (Geotechnical)

What you will do

• Perform core-logging, including opening liners, identifying soil types, and sub-sampling of soils.
• Conduct geotechnical laboratory tests following strict safety and quality protocols.
• Process and record test data accurately using worksheets and spreadsheets.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and calibration records.
• Support day-to-day practical operations of the geotechnical laboratory.

Requirements

• Fluency in French and English.
• Solid general education in mathematics and science.
• 1–5 years of experience preferred, but motivated newcomers are welcome.
• Proficiency in Excel and general IT skills.
• Ability to travel to the UK and work on vessels.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding laboratory work.
