QA/QC Inspector (Engineering)

What you will do

• Implement and maintain the project Quality Plan and ITP in accordance with project specifications and international codes.
• Conduct daily site inspections across mechanical, piping, and structural installations.
• Witness welding fit-ups, perform visual weld inspections, and coordinate NDT activities.
• Manage and review LTQR / Data Dossier documentation, including weld records and material certifications.
• Interface with clients, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors to ensure stage approvals.
• Use digital QA platforms to record inspection data and manage NCRs through to closure.

Requirements

• Must hold a current CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector qualification.
• Proven experience in QA/QC roles on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, BS EN 13480, BS EN 1090, and ASME IX.
• Demonstrable experience in compiling LTQRs and managing handover documentation.
• Ability to interpret isometrics, P&IDs, and GA drawings.
• Must possess a CCNSG Safety Passport and understand site safety regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in Power, Cryogenic, LNG, or Energy-from-Waste sectors.
• PCN Level 2 PT or other NDT qualifications.
• TUV Responsible Welding Coordinator certification.
• Background in coded welding (TIG, MIG, MMA).
