What you will do

• Manage general ledgers for assigned properties, including journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with variance analysis.
• Review annual expense reconciliation schedules and tenant billings.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing working papers and financial statements.
• Develop annual property budgets and quarterly forecasts using specialized software.
• Prepare monthly cash forecasts and support management with ad hoc financial requests.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or commercial real estate accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, specifically within the real estate sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with property management software like MRI, Yardi, or JD Edwards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
