What you will do

• Lead and execute comprehensive test routes and maneuvers based on engineering test plans without on-site supervision.
• Utilize diagnostic tools like CANalyzer and Vehicle Spy for software updates and configuration changes.
• Identify, document, and manage software defects in Jira, including reproduction steps and verification.
• Test and validate prototype firmware and maintain instrumentation systems, sensors, and vehicle wiring.
• Monitor and manage onboard data logging equipment and execute scripts in a Linux terminal.
• Oversee small shifts and provide coaching to team members to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in vehicle testing, automotive technology, or prototype systems validation.
• Proficiency with Jira, Linux terminal, GitHub, and automotive diagnostic hardware.
• Hands-on experience with wiring, sensor installation, and electrical system troubleshooting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass drug and criminal background checks.
• High School Diploma required; degree in a technical field preferred.

• Experience with electric vehicles (EV) and embedded software systems.
