Manager, Corporate Communications (PR/Media): Supporting the Corporate Communications team on public relations and strategic messaging with an accent on media outreach, thought leadership, and internal employee engagement. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days/week). Open only to candidates residing in CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WA.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

What you will do

• Develop messaging and positioning for the brand, including press releases, pitches, and thought leadership content.
• Craft proactive, strategic media pitches to advance the brand's mission and business goals.
• Assist with media outreach for major events like the Under 30 Summit and hirify.globalBLK Summit.
• Monitor and develop strategic approaches to issues management and risk assessment.
• Partner with HR and the communications team to support internal employee engagement and town halls.
• Build and maintain relationships with key reporters and manage media lists using research tools.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations.
• Must reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, or WA.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Proven history of securing high-impact media placements.
• Experience with issues management and creative problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and audience engagement.
