What you will do

• Design, improve, and introduce best practice procedures, standards, and policies for network operations.
• Review and implement network changes following ITIL change management processes.
• Rack, build, and configure network appliances at corporate offices and data centers.
• Develop detailed troubleshooting procedures and documentation to enable L1/L2 engineers to work efficiently.
• Integrate AI/ML concepts and AI-driven automation tools, such as Cisco AI Assistant, for predictive analytics and anomaly detection.

Requirements

• Expertise in Cisco routers, LAN switches, Cisco SDA architecture, and Cisco DNA.
• Advanced experience implementing routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Proven experience with SDWAN technologies (e.g., Silverpeak) and wireless solutions (Aruba, Meraki).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addressing, Subnetting, and VLANs.
• Must be based in Mountain View, California.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds for hardware installation.

Nice to have

• Cisco Certifications: CCNP and/or CCIE.
• Scripting and automation proficiency with Python, Ansible, or Netbox.
• Knowledge of AWS Networking concepts.
• Experience integrating networks from acquisitions and working with global teams.
