Principal, Policy (Healthcare): Serving as a subject matter expert on Medicare, Medicaid, and drug pricing policy issues, impacting the pharmaceutical/biotech, health insurance, pharmacy, and PBM industries with an accent on strategic and tactical recommendations. Location: Remote (US) / Washington DC

Salary: $195,000 - $215,000 a year

What you will do

• Serve as a key subject matter expert on Medicare, Medicaid and drug pricing policy issues.
• Generate strategic and tactical recommendations for clients.
• Oversee multiple complex engagements from proposal development through delivery.
• Contribute to practice goal achievement around sales, revenue, and project management.
• Create and execute on business development plans.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff members.

Requirements

• A degree in health policy, public policy, healthcare management, public health, public administration, economics, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
• Significant experience analyzing policy proposals, legislation, and/or regulation and conveying findings to clients and the public.
• Sophisticated understanding of the policy issues impacting the healthcare sector.
• Experience overseeing and supervising work of staff members.
• Proven situational leadership skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• 10 + years of relevant work experience
