What you will do

• Design and maintain backend services for notifications and emails, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Develop high-quality and performant frontend features.
• Manage the full development lifecycle: from writing design docs and coding to testing, experimentation, and launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Machine Learning, and Data Science.
• Contribute to the underlying infrastructure supporting the notifications system.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building user-facing features from design to completion.
• Strong balance of experience across modern web technologies (Frontend) and backend service code.
• Knowledge of automated testing, resiliency, and fault tolerance in coding.
• Operational experience supporting live websites.
• Must be based in the United States.
