What you will do

• Architect and evolve enterprise-scale automation frameworks across APIs, web UI, and backend services.
• Lead the adoption of AI-powered developer tools such as Amazon Q Developer and Cursor to improve test generation and diagnostics.
• Define and execute automation strategies for identity platform components including IGA, PAM, AAG, and RBAC.
• Implement shift-left testing by integrating automation and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Partner with SRE and Engineering teams to optimize release quality metrics and identify reliability risks.
• Mentor global QE teams to increase automation maturity and foster an automation-first culture.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Milpitas, California.
• 5+ years of experience in an architect or technical leadership role within software test automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python; experience with Playwright, PyTest, Robot Framework, or Karate.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed cloud systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling) and security testing (SAST, DAST).
