What you will do
- Design and implement automated functional health checks for production and DR environments using synthetic transactions and API validation.
- Build continuous validation pipelines to verify end-to-end business workflows such as authentication and system integrations.
- Develop intelligent alerting and AI/ML-driven approaches to detect failure patterns and correlate root causes.
- Integrate observability signals (logs, metrics, traces) with automated test frameworks to improve diagnosis.
- Build systems that trigger automated remediation actions to support self-healing capabilities.
- Partner with QA, SRE, and Engineering teams to improve service reliability and disaster recovery readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, SDET, or Software Engineering.
- Strong experience with Playwright, Jest, SuperTest, and REST API testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience with AWS and observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, or Splunk.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system failure modes.
Nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection and log analysis.
- Familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
