What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and libraries used across multiple teams.
• Partner with engineers and product teams to define test strategies for distributed cloud-based systems and services.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and champion continuous testing practices.
• Lead technical quality initiatives and mentor SDETs and developers on test design patterns and coding standards.
• Explore and apply AI/ML technologies to improve test efficiency, stability, and coverage.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to improve environment reliability and observability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior SDET, or Senior QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Deep experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or TestCafe.
• Expertise in testing REST APIs, microservices, and web-based applications hosted on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD systems (Gitlab Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes) and GCP/GKE.
• Must be compliant with U.S. export controls.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability, accessibility, localization).
• Familiarity with data systems, ETL, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with shift-left tooling, such as Signadot/mirrord or ephemeral environments.
• Experience contributing to shared testing libraries or open-source frameworks.
