What you will do

• Monitor customer-facing services and respond to Sev0 and Sev1 incidents.
• Lead technical reviews and contribute to Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
• Automate the detection and resolution of recurring production issues to reduce engineering toil.
• Implement compliance, resiliency, and self-healing initiatives through destructive testing and game day exercises.
• Partner with and mentor team members to drive technical development.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship (born or naturalized) and ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in enterprise-scale internet service engineering with strong RHEL CLI knowledge.
• Expertise in TCP/IP networking technologies and protocols.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and experience operating AWS infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of ITIL service operations in a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Puppet and pipelines like Jenkins, Bamboo, or Spinnaker.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes-based applications and services.
• Certifications in Linux+, Red Hat, or AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and DevOps practices.
