What you will do

• Design and architect network connection patterns and zone segmentation across AWS, GCP, Azure, and physical data centers.
• Build scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to mitigate network security risks.
• Lead threat modeling for network architecture, data flows, and connectivity patterns.
• Drive medium-to-long-term strategic direction for network security across the product group.
• Partner with product engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure secure-by-design architectures.
• Mentor technical talent through coaching, code reviews, and architectural deep-dives.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in hybrid networking (public cloud and physical data centers), including routing and segmentation.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, and applied cryptography.
• Experience designing secure connection patterns in SaaS or cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, or shell.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaaS/PaaS constructs such as VPCs, transit gateways, and service meshes.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust network architecture principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline security and operational systems.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements in regulated SaaS environments.
