Salary: $150,000 - $200,000

What you will do
- Build practical security controls and foster a DevSecOps culture through education, automation, and tooling.
- Secure the SDLC process by implementing automated checks within the pipeline.
- Perform security reviews of application code to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Create tooling and automation to efficiently respond to security events and monitoring alerts.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to establish and improve security controls.
- Participate in the team on-call rotation for security events.
Requirements
- Consistent track record of securing application services and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, Python, Golang).
- Practical experience securing cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills to discuss complex technical concepts with both engineers and non-engineers.
- Ability to drive cross-functional projects from start to finish with a strong bias for action.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Ability to secure AI tooling within a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with securing Node.js and GraphQL.
- Applied knowledge of threat modeling frameworks like STRIDE or MITRE.
- Experience performing security testing for cloud-hosted applications.
- Direct experience leading threat detection and response efforts.
