What you will do

• Manage governance and control activities for complex or high-risk business areas.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of processes and controls with clearly defined ownership.
• Map applicable regulations to business processes and assess impact.
• Review end-to-end processes to identify control deficiencies and drive standardization.
• Lead cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert to design and implement risk solutions.
• Provide guidance to senior management on emerging trends and issues in the governance space.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of relevant experience in risk and control functions.
• Advanced knowledge of governance, risk, and control procedures and strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting techniques.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end functional programs.
• Effective communication skills for oral and written reporting to management.

Nice to have

• Experience serving as a primary coordinator for quarterly regulatory meeting series.
• Ability to own the end-to-end operating rhythm for risk governance forums.
• Prior experience coordinating reporting and escalations for risk appetite limits and KRIs.
