What you will do

• Create, modify, and optimize complex CNC programs for maximum efficiency and precision.
• Perform expert-level setups on multi-axis CNC and manual machines.
• Lead qualification machining runs and first-article processes for new products.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices according to state-indentured standards.
• Conduct complex diagnostics, including spindle analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve manufacturability and resolve design issues.

Requirements

• Completion of a State Apprenticeship Program and attainment of Journeyman Machinist status.
• 5+ years of machining experience working with lathes and mills.
• Demonstrated mastery of machining trades and advanced GD&T concepts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks.
