What you will do

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of security systems across on-prem and Azure environments.
• Drive strategic security initiatives and advise leadership on risks, threats, and overall security posture.
• Direct complex investigations and incident response efforts, serving as an escalation point for critical events.
• Architect and manage advanced security tools, specifically Azure-native platforms like Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.
• Perform risk assessments, security testing, and control validations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Partner with business and IT teams to implement secure solutions and enforce access controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics, Law, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience working in the Information Technology industry.
• 3+ years of experience in the banking or financial sector.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Active Directory environments.
• Must be based in Washington, Idaho, or Oregon.

Nice to have

• Advanced expertise in identity and access management, encryption, and endpoint protection.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture and risk management frameworks for hybrid environments.
• Experienced in Azure cloud security, including networking and identity governance.
• Proven ability to conduct audits and control validations aligned with GLBA standards.
• Technical skills in scripting, automation, and threat detection.
