What you will do

• Lead and collaborate with a dedicated team building frontends for catalog management and marketing tools.
• Partner with product counterparts to strategize, prioritize work, and align with the company's strategic vision.
• Drive architecture and design decisions, perform code reviews, and facilitate 1-on-1s for team growth.
• Translate complex ambiguity into actionable engineering tasks for internal operations teams.
• Manage project dependencies and risks using Jira, GitHub Issues, and monitoring tools like DataDog or BugSnag.
• Integrate AI and Agentic Engineering tools to accelerate development workflows and optimize applications.

Requirements

• Must be based near Birmingham, AL; Minneapolis, MN; or San Francisco, CA.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing and deploying scalable web applications and microservices.
• Expertise with React, GraphQL, and Playwright.
• Proven experience guiding complex, cross-functional initiatives from ambiguous requirements to production.
• Prior experience mentoring or managing engineers, including career coaching and analyzing team metrics.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and Agentic Engineering.

Nice to have

• Fullstack understanding to collaborate effectively with backend engineering partners.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting, containers, Kubernetes, and CI tools.
