Location: Hybrid; Requires two (2) days in-office weekly if the candidate is based near Chicago, West Hartford, New York (Manhattan), or Atlanta

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end sourcing and management of US claims vendors, including TPAs, panel law firms, and adjusters.
- Develop and execute vendor strategies aligned with financial, claims, and customer objectives.
- Lead due diligence, data security capture, and contractual governance, including SLAs, KPIs, and fee structures.
- Monitor vendor performance using MI and audits to drive continuous improvement and address risks.
- Identify and deliver claims cost savings, efficiency gains, and value-add initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Claims, Underwriting, Legal, Finance, and Compliance.
Requirements
- Significant experience within US insurance claims, vendor management, or procurement.
- Strong understanding of the US insurance market, claims lifecycle, and regulatory environment.
- Experience managing TPAs, panel law firms, and adjusters.
- Proven ability to analyze claims data/MI to drive performance and cost outcomes.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills for senior internal and external stakeholder management.
Nice to have
- Claims handling background or deep technical claims expertise in complex product lines.
- JD Law Degree, CPSM (ISM), or B.A. in Business.
- Experience supporting claims transformation or insourcing initiatives.
- Familiarity with US litigation practices, defense strategies, and fee arrangements.
