Senior Analyst, Complex Settlements (Energy)

What you will do

• Manage accurate and timely invoicing, payables, accounting, and settlements for assigned complex accounts.
• Maintain complete and accurate settlement parameters, conditions, account data, and process documentation.
• Coordinate between origination, settlements, commercial, Clean Energy, accounting, and external partner groups.
• Track incoming assets and power agreements and prepare their setup across settlement and internal systems.
• Test and implement market protocol and tariff changes, including agreements without existing processes.
• Automate and improve settlement workflows while maintaining control, compliance, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, MIS, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in complex power settlements or accounting, preferably in the energy industry.
• Strong understanding of RTO/ISO charge types, calculations, rules, procedures, and data flows.
• Experience with energy trading, settlements, scheduling, operations, or back-office functions.
• Knowledge of ETRM and Bid-to-Bill systems; Adapt2 or Allegro experience is useful.
• Advanced or intermediate Excel skills and an understanding of accounting principles, energy commodity transactions, and complex contract requirements.

Nice to have

• Power Query skills.
• Experience with end-to-end energy market processes.
