What you will do

• Perform back-office check-in and check-out procedures, including administering injections and managing prescription refills.
• Interview patients, record vital signs, and update medication lists in the EMR system.
• Collect and process urine specimens and monitor clinical status changes.
• Manage clerical tasks including scheduling, data entry, and processing medical record requests.
• Maintain office equipment and inventory of medical supplies.
• Coordinate with physicians to ensure accurate dictation logs and report reviews.

Requirements

• Current Medical Assistant certification, diploma, or certificate from a recognized program.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (strongly preferred).
• 1–2 years of front or back-office medical experience.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment including stethoscopes, scanners, and EMR software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
