What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Take end-to-end ownership of feature development, from implementation through testing and deployment.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot services running in Kubernetes using AWS and Azure managed services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
• Write and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of .NET (C#) or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and strong understanding of HTTP fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• English: Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Location: Must be based in Budapest, Hungary for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or containerized environments.
• Exposure to Cloudflare Workers or serverless platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Docker and Agile development practices.
