What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services supporting post-purchase and digital returns workflows.
• Build and enhance event-driven microservices architectures using Kafka.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across multiple business domains.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to infrastructure automation and observability.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure high standards for code quality and security.

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and building microservice architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
• Proficiency with cloud-native development, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Practical experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
