Senior C++ Software Engineer (Video Cloud): Building and optimizing the backbone systems for sports technology platforms with an accent on multithreaded C++ applications, hardware interfacing, and audio/video processing. Focus on designing scalable tooling, optimizing live encoding, and ensuring system reliability for global sports production.

Location: Hybrid (Budapest, Hungary). Must be based in Hungary (2 days in office per week)

Salary: HUF 1,567,500 – 2,299,000 per month

What you will do

• Design and implement components for core systems and tooling platforms.
• Build efficient, robust multithreaded C++ applications.
• Solve challenges related to hardware interfacing, network protocols, and audio/video processing.
• Conduct field testing and support deployments at live sporting events.
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• Proficiency in modern C++ (ideally up to C++20).
• Experience writing multithreaded, performance-optimized code.
• Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and debugging workflows.
• Knowledge of Qt, FFmpeg, OpenGL, or audio/video processing tools.
• Must be based in Budapest, Hungary to support the hybrid work model.

• Experience with AWS.
