Vice President - Product (Insurtech)

Salary: $550,000 - $650,000

What you will do

• Lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and performance of the product portfolio to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
• Partner with executive leaders to translate company priorities into product initiatives and investment decisions.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, including discovery, prioritization, launch readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and optimize the product operating model, governance, and decision rights to improve execution.
• Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Actuarial leaders to balance customer value with technical feasibility and platform health.
• Coach and develop a high-performing product organization, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of progressive experience in product management and senior leadership.
• Deep insurance experience (P&C, insurtech), including knowledge of regulatory considerations and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of ownership over product vision, portfolio management, and roadmap discipline.
• Strong technical literacy with the ability to partner with engineering teams and understand technical tradeoffs.
• Exceptional communication and bridge-building skills for operating in complex, matrixed environments.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience in fintech or other highly analytical, regulated technology environments.
• Expertise in building direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital products.
• Experience leading product organizations through modernization or transformation.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in business, technology, or insurance.
