TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (Performance Testing): Developing the vision and strategy for Grafana Cloud k6 and k6 OSS to establish it as the default choice for shift-left testing with an accent on integrating test results with observability data. Focus on turning failed load tests into specific offending traces and evolving testing modalities across protocol, browser, and mobile.
Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada EST)
Salary: $164,490 CAD - $197,389 CAD + RSUs

What you will do
- Transform customer feedback and ideas into a comprehensive product vision and roadmap for k6.
- Define how performance test results integrate with metrics, logs, and traces within Grafana Cloud.
- Collaborate with PMM to enable GTM strategies, including pricing, packaging, and technical documentation.
- Act as the primary advocate for the performance testing domain, bridging Engineering, Design, and GTM teams.
- Evolve the product to support multiple testing modalities such as protocol, browser, and mobile.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada (EST timezone).
- 7+ years of experience in Product Management.
- 5+ years of experience working with B2B SaaS products.
- Experience building or using developer-facing tools, APIs, or platform services.
- Ability to discuss distributed systems concepts, data models, and schema evolution.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with open source software and commercial OSS business models.
- Background in observability products or experience as an SRE.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Cloud Service Providers, and VM infrastructure.
- Experience utilizing AI tools.
