TL;DR

Location: Hybrid: Must be based within a commutable distance of London or Manchester, UK (10–20% on-site requirement).
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead the Technical Application Support Team as the primary escalation point into Engineering for operational issues.
- Maintain and optimize operational dashboards, alerts, and PagerDuty schedules to eliminate observability gaps.
- Coordinate incident response, perform methodical fault-finding, and lead post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize reliability, scalability, and quality improvements.
- Implement Lean principles to eliminate waste in triage and investigation processes.
- Design and maintain operational runbooks and readiness checklists.
Requirements
- Experience leading operations or support teams for Azure-hosted SaaS applications.
- Deep understanding of SQL Server/Azure SQL and database performance tuning.
- Ability to read and interpret logs and stack traces from C# .NET applications.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform.
- Experience querying logs using languages such as KQL, LogQL, or Lucene.
- Must be based within commutable distance of London or Manchester, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure Monitor, PagerDuty, Grafana, Logz.io, or Cloudflare tools.
