Quality Document Control Specialist

What you will do

• Act as a liaison between management, project managers, quality and corporate departments, external contacts, and clients.
• Implement and maintain a document control system for incoming and outgoing transmittals.
• Assemble and copy work packages from FTP sites or other sources for distribution.
• Develop detailed transmittals of documents released to clients and vendors.
• Upload electronic files and maintain logs of transmitted and incoming items.
• Organize and maintain project files, both electronic and hard copy.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level.
• Highly organized and comfortable with coordinating with project managers, discipline engineers, and clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and multi-task.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
