What you will do

• Manage project procurement from the concept phase through to series transfer (NPI/NPD).
• Define procurement strategies, supplier structures, and cost models in close collaboration with R&D and engineering.
• Select and qualify strategic suppliers and technology partners for electronics, mechanics, and system components.
• Perform cost analyses, target costing, and make-or-buy evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace and quality standards, specifically EN9100.
• Identify new technologies and manufacturing capacities through market analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering, supply chain management, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in technical or R&D procurement, ideally within aerospace, defense, or high-tech sectors.
• Proven experience managing technical suppliers and understanding industrialization processes.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EN9100).
• Business-fluent communication skills in German and English.
• Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business travel.
